Fast like a Supah Ninja!

We’ve been working on lots of cool projects with Nickelodeon this year, and this was a recent set of graphics required to accompany a promo for a new show. ‘Supah Ninjas’ is an American Comedy-Action series that premiered in January 2011 on Nickelodeon. The show follows three friends who become a team of Ninjas to fight crime and battle against evil, and features the oroginal Star Treck’s very own George Takei.

We were asked to take a number of clips from the show and create quick comic book style animations that matched each clip and were in the same style as the shows title sequence.

Our graphics illustrated the fast pace of the ball bearings whizzing down the spiral timer!

Celebrity World Record Attempt!

We’ve recently helped children’s TV presenter Jamie Rickers with the branding for a new TV show for ITV 2 & Nickelodeon called ‘Jamie Rickers’ Celebrity Headhunt’. The challenge will be for Jamie to interview as many celebrities as he can within 24 hours and will raise money for UNICEF. The event will also be featured on ITV 1’s morning show ‘Daybreak.

To sponsor this unique event and help Jamie raise money for a very good cause, go to: fundraise.unicef.org.uk/MyPage/JamieRickers

Jamie Says: “I have worked with Marc on several other projects for ITV & Nickelodeon. One of Pixel DNA’s strengths is that they are able to not only decipher the intricate thought processes of many long winded e-mails and still hit the design brief smack on the head every time, but they also deliver the content incredibly fast. In an age where everyone wants everything yesterday, they able deliver the goods to the client at the very latest on time, usually long before deadline. As a producer this enables me to work at a faster pace without the added hassle of having to spend extra time on branding.

A keen eye, televisual and branding understanding is of paramount importance and this is what Pixel deliver time, after time, after time. Not only that, but their knowledge and expertese of ALL areas of branding, down to the size of branding boards is of massive importance.

I hope to continue to work with Pixel DNA on my future shows and projects, providing that someone else doesn’t beat me to their time first”.

Pixel DNA has created the brand & title sequence for Nickelodeon’s new weekend show ‘Jamie & Anna’s BIG Weekend’.

The title sequence is combination of live action footage of the shows presenters, combined with Motion Graphics, which result in a fast paced journey where we follow the presenters making their way across a construction site, dodging slime and other falling obstacles!

Pixel DNA were tasked with designing all of the shows design elements from the logo and the title sequence through to all of the shows graphical content and promotional materials.

David Kangas, Series Producer says: “Once again Its been an absolute pleasure working with Marc and the team at Pixel-DNA. The benefits are immediate and so is their work! Their reliability and quickness to respond with a willingness and enthusiasm to always go way above and beyond the brief, delivering truly awesome results without fail every time is nothing short of spectacular! Pixel DNA we salute you for all your amazing work for Nickelodeon, and for helping bring Jamie & Anna’s Big Weekend to life with such a visually inventive look and feel! Here’s to the next Project!”
