Posted: 14/07/2010

Part of a larger pitch to transform CITV’s current offer in to a daily show broadcast live from the ITV tower in London.

Pixel DNA designed a brand new studio that was built as a full 3D motion set. Presenters were then composited in to the CGI sets, and a number of Motion Graphics idents were created to cut together with the finished sequence.

Toonatik Goodbye

We’ve recently helped GMTV Kids bid a fond farewell to the long running Saturday morning show ‘Toonattik’. Fronted by the very talented and funny Jamie & Anna, and backed by an especially creative production team. It was sad to be working on our last project for Toonattik, but we at Pixel are confident that all the team will move on to bigger and better things, and wish them success in whatever they all choose to do next.

The final sequence we were tasked with creating for the show was a wonderfully colourful ‘toon’ world, with a central helter skelter that is revealed as the secret base of the ‘Toonattik’.

PPG & Johnstone’s Paint recently got in touch to see if we could help them create a generic 3D football Stadium illustration for inclusion in one of their new brochures. Of course we obliged, and the finished result was a combination of 3D and 2D illustration, created at hi-res for use on a
pullout A3 poster.

The main four videos are an example of how animation and video can easily feed an audience with information in an eye-catching an interesting way.
